Welcome to my Homepage! I am the DotComd Guy. I am the owner and founder of the Hot Media Group. Creator of HotMediaDeals.com which encompases all of the hot___deals sites such as HotBoatDeals.com, HotRodDeals.com, and HotAutoDeals.com just to name a few. There are 15 sites in all that are available for anyone to use. Starting on January 1st, 2012 we are offering our own lineup of very powerful websites that utilize our website tools and then publish to sites such as www.IdRatherBeOnMyBoat.com. The website hosting is done free of charge but in order to use this feature you need your own domain name, and you must pay a $50/yr fee for use of our system in this manner. You can have up to 25 pages on your website, and post pictures, links, stories, youtube.com videos, videos from our system, and more... I'm very excited to be able to offer you your own website! Something else that I want to mention is that these are very powerful websites built utilizing CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) which in a nutshell means that you can have your website look however you want! Each and every website comes with a standard yet flexible layout that can be customized pretty well. If you want a more advanced design, you can either come up with your own CSS and pay a $20 insertion fee, or have our designers work with you to design a look that is appealing to you. We have a few different authorized CSS designers rangeing in price from $40-$90 per hour. When having our designers work with you the CSS insertion fee is waived. I mean, we have to pay for all this somehow... |

10/19/2012 11:0:19 PM - DotComd Updated Video: Carving up Lake Michigan on a Last Hoorah! - A Last blast running out on the lake after a season of troubleshooting problems and learning more than I'd ever known about diesel engines, their care, and maintenance. We can finally once again after a two year stretch, run the diesels at full throttle for any length of time without running over 200 degrees. This run was a pedal to the metal run at just over 30 mph!!! Quite fast for a boat of this size! |

08/08/2012 4:6:28 PM - DotComd Updated Video: White Squall on Lake Michigan - While I was out last weekend on Saturday, I noticed that there was quite a storm brewing to the west. I decided to head back to the marina to seek some shelter. We made it to the fuel dock, and then just barely to the slip with the rain began. We got the front canvas covers up but couldn't get the back up. So we watched it from the entryway... This storm knocked out power to much of the Chicago suburbs that afternoon. |

Activities: |
Cruising, rafting, spending time with my family and sometimes a party boat. We like to slow cruise, we also like to get to where we want to go as well. We are always using the raymarine autopilot which is just awesome! While the boat can do 32-33 we normally do about 26-28 mph. We love to drop the anchor and swim off the hook or in the harbor while at the dock. |

Accomodations: |
We have a full shower bathroom with a electric flush toilet. The kitchen has a microwave, 3 burner electric stove top, and a sink. The boat has a generator so we can run the power or anything we need whether at dock or underway. Normally we'll have the ac blowing full bore while crossing the lake which takes about 4 hours to do. |
