Xpress of Arkansas is a company which grew out of one man's experience with the marine industry and the boating public. The Company's founder, Kermit Bryant, owned a marine dealership for 15 years before he began producing his welded aluminum boats in 1966. He recognized the benefits of combining welding with Aluminum's lightweight strength. Kermit was unwilling to accept the fisherman's inevitable struggle with leaky rivets and wet feet, so he designed tools and modified existing equipment until he managed to build the first successful all-welded aluminum boat. Now retired, daily activities having been passed on to other family members, Kermit is still active in the design and fabrication of Xpress boats. His commitment is to give the boater the best product for his dollar.
